KJ Krasco | Head Coach
Krasco joined the athletics staff at Middlebury as the head women’s basketball coach in the summer of 2014, after serving as the top assistant at Bowdoin for three years.
In her first six seasons on the Panther bench, she has increased the team's win total from 11 her first season to 20 (20-8) in 2018-19, reaching that mark for just the first time since the 2001-02 season and the fifth time in program history. She guided the program to its first NCAA appearance since the 1997-98 campaign, earning a first-round win over John Carroll in the 2019 tournament.
Prior to her arrival as the Panthers' leader, she served as the top recruiter for three years at Bowdoin for a program that made two NCAA Tournament appearances and won over 20 games on two occasions. She was also part of the 2011-12 Maine State Women’s Basketball Coaching Staff of the Year.
Krasco’s coaching career began at St. Lawrence in 2005, where she spent two seasons with the Saints. She was part of the 2007 Liberty League Coaching Staff of the Year, as the team enjoyed a record-setting 20-win season.
Krasco’s next stop came in 2007, when she took over the reins of the Clarkson program as head coach. In her three seasons, she raised the level of play on the court and also directed the summer basketball camp. She also served as the compliance coordinator for the Golden Knights.
Prior to her three seasons with the Polar Bears, Krasco enjoyed a one-year stint as an assistant coach at Division II Merrimack in 2010-11.
As a player at Colby-Sawyer, Krasco was a first-team All-Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) player and 1,000-point scorer for the Chargers from 2002-05. She was named the New Hampshire Division III Player of the Year in 2004-05, as Colby-Sawyer won the CCC title and reached the NCAA Tournament. Krasco was inducted into the school's athletic hall of fame in 2014.
The Medford, Massachusetts, native is a member of the Medford High School Hall of Fame.
Catherine Harrison| Assistant Coach
Harrison joined the women’s basketball staff at Middlebury as the assistant coach in the summer of 2021. A 2019 graduate, Harrison was a two-time captain of the Panther’s squad.
Following graduation, Harrison worked for two years as a Client Experience Senior Associate at The Nebo Company.
Harrison made her mark during her time on the court at Middlebury. She is second all-time in career blocked shots (105) and is fourth in rebounds (746). Harrison helped lead the Panthers back to the NCAA Tournament in her final season, as the team concluded the year with a 20-win season. In 2016, she was named the NESCAC Rookie of the Year, contributing 11.3 points and 11.0 rebounds per game for Middlebury, while shooting 50.0 percent from the floor. At the conclusion of her senior year, Harrison was honored with the Murphy Roberts ‘17 Memorial Award, given to the Middlebury athlete who inspires teammates with the selflessness, enthusiasm and team spirit demonstrated by Roberts.
